I was thrilled to have been asked to review “Believe” the new CD and DVD by Celtic Woman. (Don’t forget to go over to my giveaway post where 2 readers will a copy of one of these. Check it out!)
The BELIEVE 2012 North American Tour will kick-off in February and I got an exclusive seat in own home to be able to watch the DVD that was filmed at The Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA this past September. Seems silly to think that when I had finished watching it I wanted to do cat calls and give Celtic Woman a standing ovation, but the live concert DVD is so inspirational, I really did want to do just that!
I am not new to Celtic Woman I also own their Songs From the Heart CD – but this is the first time I’ve watched them live in concert. It definitely is a different experience than just listening to the music on a CD.
The Believe CD is just as amazing though and while you don’t have the magic of the live filming, its special take on timeless classics and pop tunes still have an incredible sound.
If you’ve never heard the enjoyable music that Celtic Woman produces, I encourage you to try them out – they take Irish Songs as well as recognizable tunes give them a Celtic twist and have the ability to move your soul.
