We actually chose to watch A Child’s Garden of Poetry as part of our home school English lessons. The children featured on this DVD are incredibly insightful on what poetry is and how it should move you. They make the DVD just as interesting as the poetry itself. The animations help everyone watching dig deeper into the words and intent of the poets. Not only did we have much to talk about after watching the DVD, I fondly remembered many of the poems read as ones I took in school as well. I would recommend this as an affordable resource for your home school as well as just a good DVD for children to watch.
