I’ve read numerous Amish novels before, although not this particular title.  I have been to an Amish community though, and was struck by how ‘real’ the producers made this movie feel.  The ‘backdrop’ of the Pennsylvania community is stunning.  As is usually the case with Hallmark movies, the story tugs at your heart strings and you can relate to the characters in it.

While this movie was originally shown on the Hallmark Channel in April this year, it is now available on DVD.
