Redneck Jellyfish is a unique app in that it was developed by a father and his children.
The object of the game is to get Gus Hickey, a redneck jellyfish, to rebuild the coral reefs. You have to maneuver him to allow his tentacles to grasp the coral seeds and then place them on top of the coral head.
Of course there are various levels, level 1 being somewhat of a starter course where you can get the feel of how to move Gus and get those coral seeds where they belong. Already in level 2 you’ll notice some obstacles, rock formations and sea grasses that start impeding your progress and making it more difficult. Up through the levels you’ll find hermit crab zombies, and other bad “seafood” that you’ll need to avoid, and boosts that will help you out in your task.
Altogether there are over 60 levels and 8 different locations to play in. The graphics and typeset will give a Spongebob type of feeling, but Redneck Jellyfish is its own game.
Redneck Jellyfish 1.02 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category. It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Rated 9+ for the following: Infrequent/Mild Profanity or Crude Humor.
